The Black Swamp Bootleggers is a bluegrass band out of Chapel Hill, NC that plays a unique brand of music - keeping well connected with the traditions of bluegrass while also drawing on influences from a wide range of styles. The band is a group with diverse musical taste with stylistic influences ranging from the bluegrass greats Bill Monroe, Don Reno, and Tony Rice to The Beatles, Charles Mingus, Bob Dylan, and Led Zeppelin. The sound that is achieved through this mixture of styles is high-energy, driving, and pleasant to the ears. With their live shows comes a guarantee for a unique, fun bluegrass experience.
